Upcoming New Project: Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru


We are pleased to announce that we are taking on a new project, Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru (For Your Sake, I Would Die).

This is a charming work very, very, VERY loosely based on the life of Heian-era author and poet Sei Shonagon. The 27 year-old Shonagon, depicted here as a sort of medieval NEET, manages to land a job as the private tutor of the beautiful and refined teenage princess, Teishi. (Yes, age-gap romance!) There are also a number of other quirky court ladies, some of whom have their own eye on Shonagon...

Zefiris really liked this one, and I'm quite taken with it as well. Please look forward to the first chapters soon! (And don't worry, we won't be neglecting Choir. We intend to alternate releases.)

    Oh, neat. Yuri manga scanlation has taken a pretty hard hit last month, but I'm glad to see people still moving.

    We hope to have the first five chapters of Kimi no Tame out before the end of the month. As always, we don't have as much time to devote to our work here as we'd like, but we are doing our best, so please bear with us.

    As always, things don't go as planned, but we have all but the 5th chapter done. Hopefully before the end of this week. Actually, it's more like six chapters because there is a "chapter zero" prologue. In any case, please wait just a bit longer.
